Every half an hour the tropical Rainforest that surrounded us started to rumble and flash to replicate a tropical thunder and lightning storm.
What did you get up to?
Upon arrival we were greeted by a staff member who showed us down to the restaurant were we waited to be seated.
After looking at the menu, I had chosen the chicken with a peppercorn sauce with chips and veg and my daughter chose the fish and chips. Both portions were of good size and cooked well, needless to say we devoured our dishes pretty quickly.
We ordered milkshakes which were amazing and thick! For dessert we both chose the chocolate brownie which did not disappoint although we made a typical school boy error and filled ourselves up on drinks and shakes meaning by the time we got to dessert we were pretty full and could only manage a few spoonfuls.
Every half an hour the tropical Rainforest that surrounded us started to rumble and flash to replicate a tropical thunder and lightning storm. Animals including monkeys, elephants and toads moved amongst the storm to create an animated real life jungle experience. My daughter seemed to enjoy this and took pleasure in soaking up the atmosphere and familiarising herself with the all of the different types of animals.
What did you enjoy the most?
The thick milkshakes were absolutely heavenly and I would even go as far to say it was probably one of the best milkshake’s I have ever had the pleasure of tasting.
Top Tip
Order one of their milkshakes, they will not disappoint!

We were then taken to an elite cheesemongers called Paxton and Whitfield.
What did you get up to?
The tour started in Mayfair where we were taken to Fortnum and Mason where we were treated to 2 different types of cheese, one of which was an amazing double truffle Gloucester cheese! I didn’t think I liked Gloucester until that day.
We were then taken to an elite cheesemongers called Paxton and Whitfield, probably one of the oldest cheese vendors in the business. We tried some fantastic blue cheese!
We moved on to Lina Stores where we tried cheese which has been soaked and matured in red wine and also we also tried a prosecco one. I hadn’t tried cheese like that before.
After this, we had a little sit down outside and ate a slice of margarita pizza at an adorable pizzeria not too far from Lina Stores. Once we had finished sitting down the tour guide brought over some goats’ cheese for us too!
What did you enjoy the most?
The truffle Gloucester was definitely my favourite out of the lot!
Top Tip
1. As there are so many different types of cheese to try I recommend not to eat beforehand.
2. Wear comfortable shoes as you will be walking around London to all the best places to try cheese.
