I would've liked the message a little bit more prominent, but perhaps it requires a more elaborate technique.

25/10/2021He did not want a party but we were planning to do something to make the occasion special. He is a widower, lives alone and rarely goes out. Due to the current Covid 19 restrictions he is now having to observe 12 weeks self- isolating.
We are planning to visit and talk through the window , take a cake ,cards and gifts. This tankard will be a special gift to mark a memorable birthday.
The glass is a little larger than I expected but the engraving makes it a lovely personalised gift.
