Personalised Silver Plated Lucky Sixpence Tie Clip

This silver plated tie clip incorporates a lucky sixpence at it’s centre and is personalised by engraving either initials, a name, or a date of a special occasion.

The tradition goes, that the Father of the Bride would give the Bride a lucky sixpence to be placed in her left shoe. This was to symbolise good health and wealth, but most importantly to ensure his daughter's happiness. It was typical for the sixpence to be handed down from generation to generation. We have created both a practical and touching gift based on the sentiment of this thoughtful tradition.

The clip measures 6cm in length, and 2cm at its widest, with the sixpence set at the centre secured to the front of the tie clip.
